Why Buy a Stepper?

At Fitness Superstore, we provide a great range of steppers. Exercise steppers deliver a great cardiovascular exercise and are a great alternative to high impact machines, such as treadmills.

Stair climbing is a natural low impact and low speed movement which improves your functional mobility, strengthens your core and burns calories faster than almost any other cardio machine! Each gentle step burns more calories than walking.

WHAT TO CONSIDER

  • Measure your workout space:

Be sure to measure your workout space before you purchase a stepper to ensure it fits comfortably. Particularly important is the height - steppers are considerably taller than other cardio machines, with a smaller width or depth. When measuring, make sure you allow extra space for mounting and dismounting. Don’t forget that your stepper will often need to be located close to a power point.
  • Weight capacity:

It's important to choose a stepper that can handle about 20kg more than your own weight, so there's no risk of the motor straining.
