The REP PR-5000 Rack is made with 3x3” 11-gauge steel and boasts a 1000lb / 454kg rackable weight capacity. It’s just about as tough as you can get, built to withstand intense strength sessions day-in, day-out. The PR-5000 has 2” hole spacing along the entire length of the uprights with 1” pinholes and laser-cut numbers on every hole which makes lining up attachments easy. It’s built with precision manufacturing techniques – like robotic welding and painting – ensuring a consistent high-quality finish every time. The PR-5000’s durability is reinforced with heavy-duty bolts, which require 2 x 36mm sockets/spanner if you’re building the rack yourself. A 16” 2-post extension adds extra stability and exercise versatility (not to mention more room for attachments!) to the REP PR-5000 6-Post Pro Rack. This kit comes with a selection of attachments included as standard. Strap Safeties – made from reinforced nylon – are gentler on your barbell than traditional metal safeties like Pin-Pipe or Flip-Down Safeties. A pair of Flat Sandwich J-Cups offer a larger landing zone than regular J-Cups and can easily handle the 1000lb / 454kg maximum weight capacity. This Pro version also features a Multi-Grip Pull-Up Bar that lets you switch up your grip and target additional muscle groups (adds an extra 1” to the height of your rack), plus 3 pairs of 6” and 12” Weight Horns offer handy weight plate storage. What sets this kit apart? The new Ares 2.0 Cable Attachment. Just like the original Ares attachment, the Ares 2.0 has been designed by REP to save serious space by combining a rack and a multi-functional trainer. The Ares 2.0 features the same dual 260lb selectorised weight stacks, rotated and pushed further back to make better use of the space inside the rack, the weight stacks can be used independently or connected for exercises that demand a heavier weight. The Ares 2.0 utilises a 2:1 cable ratio, which means 100lbs feels like 50lbs—ideal for functional training when you want a faster-travelling cable. Alongside an integrated lat pulldown feature, the Ares 2.0 has a new seated row design that’s higher off the ground to accommodate use either on the floor or seated on a bench. It has an improved footplate design which is wider and angled at the top to provide support while sitting on a bench and adjusts for better foot positioning. The patent-pending trolleys are easy to adjust up and down the uprights with just one hand and offer a greater range of motion that’s just like a traditional, stand-alone functional trainer. Every pulley can swivel, including the lat /seated row pulley—a feature that’s typically only seen on high-end commercial cable machines. The Ares 2.0 attachment comes with four d-handles, a knurled lat pulldown bar, an adjustable foot plate for low rows and two integrated drop-down 5lb add-on weights.
