REP PR-5000 with Ares 2.0 Multi-Functional Trainer - 80" in Metallic Black with 6 posts

Just like the original Ares attachment, the Ares 2.0 has been designed by REP to save serious space by combining a rack and a multi-functional trainer. The Ares 2.0 features the same dual 260lb selectorised weight stacks, rotated and pushed further back to make better use of the space inside the rack. The weight stacks can be used independently or connected for exercises that demand a heavier weight. The independent stacks allow two athletes to training simultaneously with separate resistance, or a single athlete to superset exercises off each trolley without having to change weight between each set. The Ares 2.0 utilises a 2:1 cable ratio, which means 100lbs feels like 50lbs—ideal for functional training when you want a faster-traveling cable. Alongside an integrated lat pulldown feature, the Ares 2.0 has a new seated row design that’s higher off the ground to accommodate use either on the floor or seated on a bench. It has an improved footplate design which is wider and angled at the top to provide support while sitting on a bench and adjusts for better foot positioning. The patent-pending trolleys are easy to adjust up and down the uprights with just one hand and offer a greater range of motion that’s just like a traditional, stand-alone functional trainer. Every pulley can swivel, including the lat /seated row pulley—a feature that’s typically only seen on high-end commercial cable machines. The kit comes in a 4-post or 6-post PR-5000 configuration. The frame is built from heavy-duty 3x3” 11-gauge steel and boasts a 1000lb / 454kg rackable maximum weight capacity. A pair of durable Flat Sandwich J-Cups are included with the 4-post version, whereas the 6-post option adds a 1.25” Pull-Up Bar and a pair of Strap Safeties. The rack can be further customised to your exact liking with REP’s vast range of additional PR-5000 attachments—just select from the list of add-ons to really make your setup your own.
