The VX-18 sets the standard for single-stack weight machines.
The Vectra Fitness VX-18 is the ultimate home gym, having undergone many design improvements since its introduction in 1987 as the On-Line 1500. Even then, it revolutionized the industry with features such as the patented 'no cable change' On-Line® system. No one had experienced a machine like this — more versatile, comfortable, smooth, more solid than anything before.
INNOVATION
You’ll find that the VX-18, like all Vectra products, is the result of much forethought. Our engineers have gone through the “What if we…” stage over and over before coming to a final solution. This is clear when you realise that this sturdy machine is the embodiment of so many patents, each of which contains a multitude of patent claims.
Some of the features you’ll appreciate include the flat, standard Olympic height bench that rolls away from the press station, turning the VX-18 into a two-user machine by incorporating the vast group of exercises that can be performed with dumbbells.
The VX-18, as well as it’s multi stack equivalents, the 3850 and 4850, include the patented Parallelogram Direct-Drive press arm system. The press arm lifts the weight stack directly, this eliminates 'sponge' (movement of the bar before resistance is encountered) and reduces cable wear. But the real benefit is the motion, the parallelogram generates an arc similar to the natural motion for a correctly performed free-weight bench press. And like all stations on the VX-18, the weight is lifted at a direct 1:1 ratio, allowing you to measure your strength progress in actual pounds instead of unrelated 'units'.

Depending on your location, some of our ex-display products can be delivered for free. Others may require a delivery charge. The criteria are outlined below:
• Products located in Northampton which are £300 or over are delivered free for addresses within approximately 70 miles of our head office. This covers the following postcodes: MK, AL, NN, LE, B, CB, CV, HP, LU, OX, PE, SG, WD, WR
• Products located in Northampton over £300, but outside of the 70 mile radius, are likely to incur a delivery fee. Please contact [email protected] to obtain a delivery quote.
• All products under £300 need to be collected.
• All products located anywhere other than Northampton must be collected.
• Orders paid for with finance must be delivered.
Our ex-display units are sold built and unboxed for collection. For some fitness equipment, delivery may be available. Please call 01604 673000 for a delivery cost. Manufacturer's warranty is available on most units. Please call to confirm condition and availability.

Press arm: 21-position with 8 ball bearing pivots. Release lever functions in both directions for easy adjustment from all exercise positions (patent pending). Direct lift eliminates cable stretch and provides 1-to-1 lift ratio with a natural arc motion
The Vector bench: 7-setting, one-touch adjustment from 15° decline to a shoulder press. All positions offer full back support - as you adjust the back pad, the seat pad automatically adjusts to the correct angle. This bench is also the perfect place for abdominal and dumbbell work. Spring-loaded wheels make positioning easy and they retract to ensure the bench stays put during use

Supported row: 12-position adjustable cushion with narrow and wide grip handle positions
